What We Do
We represent those who work in public health. We bring together the people at the front lines of improving our health from state government agencies, local health departments, hospitals, health plans, and community organizations. We make sure our members have the resources, skills, and knowledge necessary to meet the needs of the communities they serve. We focus our efforts on policy, advocacy, professional development, and shared learning.
Annual Conference In October we bring together professionals from across the state to learn, connect, and celebrate the dedication of our community to improving the public’s health. Join us at the Annual Conference to connect with peers, share best practices, and learn about innovative programs.
Policy and Advocacy We champion programs and resources that support the public’s health. Every year in February we bring convene more than 100 public health professionals and supporters for our annual Public Health Legislative Education Day. Join us to learn about important budget and policy issues and engage lawmakers in discussions about the value of public health.
