The Adams County Health Department is one of 37 local health jurisdiction statewide. The mission of the health department is to "improve, promote and protect the public's health". This is done through a variety of programs that address the goals in the mission statement.

Benton Franklin Health District

Benton-Franklin Health District provides a wide variety of public health services that protect and promote the health of all 230,300 residents of Benton-Franklin Counties, as well as the thousands of workers and visitors who enter the Counties each day. In addition to providing many services directly, Benton-Franklin Health District works collaboratively with many other entities to address health needs of people living, working and visiting in Benton-Franklin Counties.



 

Clark County Public Health

Clark County Public Health continues this tradition of protecting the community's health by preventing disease and responding to health threats. We influence conditions that promote health, such as access to healthy and affordable foods, clean water, health care, and neighborhoods that are safe for walking and biking. We minimize the impact of disease outbreaks through vaccination efforts, early detection, and swift responses.

Community Choice, serving North Central Washington , is your source for healthcare education and improved access to quality healthcare.  We offer workshops in chronic pain management, chronic disease management and diabetes management. We help you navigate the healthcare system to get the healthcare services benefits you are looking for. Our goal: healthier communities and a healthier Washington!

King County Medical Society

The King County Medical Society (KCMS), founded in 1888, is a nonprofit professional organization dedicated to representing Seattle and King County physicians and their patients by promoting best practices in medicine and raising public awareness of issues critical to quality patient care and public health.

  


 

Kitsap Public Health District

The Kitsap Public Health District prevents diseases and protects the health of all persons in Kitsap County. We strive to make Kitsap County a safe and healthy place to work, live, and play!

 

 




Komen Puget Sound

Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments, and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation. Moved by Susan’s compassion for others and commitment to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer.



Molina Healthcare

Our mission is to provide quality health care to people receiving government assistance.  Molina Healthcare contracts with state governments and serves as a health plan, providing a wide range of quality health care services to families and individuals who qualify for government-sponsored programs, including Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). 

 


National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific NW Region 

The goal of the NNLM is to advance the progress of medicine and improve public health by providing U.S. health professionals with equal access to biomedical information and improving individuals' access to information to enable them to make informed decisions about their health.

 



North Sound ACH

The North Sound Accountable Community of Health (North Sound ACH)  is committed to improving health of the people who live in Snohomish, Skagit, Island, San Juan and Whatcom counties. The North Sound ACH includes individuals, organizations, and stakeholders working together to transforming the the health and health care system across the North Sound Region. To accomplish this we need stronger emphasis on prevention, health promotion and community health, while promoting efficiencies and quality in physical, behavioral, and public health systems. 

 


Providence St. Joseph

At Providence St. Joseph Health, we use our voice to advocate for vulnerable populations and needed reforms in health care. We are also pursuing innovative ways to transform health care by keeping people healthy, and making our services more convenient, accessible and affordable for all. PTE Local 17

Local 17 members are a group of diverse, public sector, professional and technical employees in Washington and Oregon. Their jobs range from engineers and information technology experts, to environmental and health specialists.

Snohomish Health District

The Snohomish Health District provides a wide range of programs and services that protect and promote the public health with particular focus on preventing injury and disease. As government funding for public health has been reduced since the recession of 2008, we have worked to focus our programs and resources on public health essentials and community needs.

 


Spokane Regional Health District

Spokane Regional Health District is one of 34 local public health agencies serving Washington state's 39 counties. The agency was originally established as the Spokane County Health District in January 1970, when the City of Spokane and Spokane County merged their health departments. In 1994, the official name was changed to Spokane Regional Health District to reflect the increased scope of public health services and geographic coverage. We have approximately 250 employees and serve a population of more than 400,000 in Spokane County.


Tacoma Pierce County Health District

We protect and improve the health of all people and places in Pierce County. Every day, Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department works so you can enjoy a meal, drink tap water, breathe clean air, and stay healthy and disease free. That’s why public health is essential.

 

 


United Healthcare

We are working to create a system that is connected, aligned and more affordable for all involved. One that delivers high quality care, responsive to the needs of each person and the communities in which they live. We are also partnering with care providers, collaborating in new ways to improve patient care. At United Healthcare, we are working to play our part in creating a more sustainable health care system: one that works better for everyone.


 University of Washington School of Public Health

The UW School of Public Health is grounded in teaching, research, and service.  Our 10,000 graduates have gone on to transform communities, lead health organizations, and find solutions to emerging public health challenges.

Our Vision: Healthy people in sustainable communities – locally, nationally, and globally.

 

Located in Washington’s capital, Olympia, the Association employs a staff of 15 to train, inform and assist health center staff and leadership. We convene work groups, facilitate projects and initiatives among the membership, and connect our members with state, regional and federal agencies and governing bodies. We collect, analyze and report on data critical to our member health centers’ success and advocate for them at all levels.


Washington Global Health Alliance

WGHA connects and informs Washington’s global health community, creating a culture of collaboration at home so our members can have more impact in the world. We envision a Washington global health community that fulfills its greatest collective potential for achieving global health equity.

 

 


Washington Poison Center

The Washington Poison Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving the citizens of Washington state since 1956.  Our poison information specialists answer more than 63,000 calls a year from Washingtonians related to poisoning and toxic exposures. We are always here to help, 24/7/365.

The Washington State Board of Health (Board) was established  to serve the health and safety of the people living in our state. Since the beginning of statehood, the Board has played an important role in meeting its obligation to understand and prevent disease across the entire state population.  We remain as committed today has we have been for the last nearly 13 decades to advancing policies that protect and improve the public's health.
