Continuing Education Credits at the 2024 WSPHA Annual Conference

We are pleased to announce that you can gain up to 9 Medical, Nursing, or CHES Continuing Education Credits for attending the 2024 WSPHA Annual Conference! 

You can access these credits by registering for them on the registration page. This CEU bundle is available for an additional $25.

Purpose of the Activity: 

The purpose of the 2024 WSPHA Annual Conference is to connect with colleagues around the state, learn new skills, and celebrate 90 years of Public Health history in Washington State. 

Objectives of the Activity: 

Participants at the WSPHA Annual Conference will attend 1-3 days of sessions where they can take at least one skill or piece of knowledge back to their workplace to improve their work. 


Participants will meet at least one new professional colleague that can help to strengthen the network of the public health system in Washington State. 

Target Audience: 

The audience for the WSPHA Annual Conference is anyone participating in Population Health activities in Washington State. This includes everyone in State, Local, and Tribal Government Public Health, Community-based health organizations, Academia focused in the health sciences, and healthcare professionals.

During the past 24 months, all speakers, moderators, planning committee members, content reviewers, or discussants have responded they have no professional or personal relationships with an ineligible company that might potentially be bias or impact the content of the educational activity/session.

The Washington State Public Health Association strives to ensure balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor in all of its educational programs.  All planners, faculty members, moderators, discussants, panelists and presenters participating in this program have been required to disclose any real or apparent conflict(s) of interest that may have a direct bearing on the subject matter of this program.  This includes relationships with pharmaceutical companies, biomedical device manufacturers or other corporations whose products or services are related to the subject matter of the presentation topic.  The intent of this policy is to identify openly any conflict of interest so that the attendees may form their own judgments about the presentation with full disclosure of the facts.  In addition, faculty is expected to openly disclose any off-label, experimental and/or investigational uses of drugs or devices in their presentation.  Disclosures, Conflict of Interest (COI) and Resolution of COI policies are available via the APHA’s website and in the printed program.

Instructions on how to obtain credit

How to Obtain CE Credit for IN-PERSON ACTIVITY
Participants must complete the evaluation online in order to earn credit hours and obtain a CE certificate. A link to the online evaluation system will be sent to all registered participants who attend the activity that will contain instructions and a personal ID number for access to the system. All online evaluations must be submitted by November 11, 2024 to receive continuing education credit for this activity.
